Max Associates Complete Thames Path 50k Ultra Challenge to raise over £1,800 for MNDA
On Sunday 10th September a team from Max Associates went the distance by walking 50km from Runnymede along the Thames in one day to finish at Henley. The team comprised of Lisa Forsyth, Kirsty Winders, Nicky Turnbull, Greg Chesters, Claire Elkin, Lee Winders and Sarah Wiltshire.
The team were determined to go the extra mile to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) and in memory of Mark Steward, the MD of Max Associates who sadly passed away in June 2023 after battling for 3 and half years with MND.
Mark founded Max Associates in November 2000, to deliver high quality consultancy and project management services across the sport, leisure and cultural sectors. Mark grew the company over the last 22 years to create an amazing team, it has a tremendous reputation, it is a great place to work.
Kirsty Winders, Director at Max Associates said; “MNDA is a cause close to our team and we walked with Mark and his family very much in our thoughts. We are delighted to have raised over £1,800 for MNDA an incredible charity focused on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We hope the money raised will help towards finding a cure for this terrible disease so in the future other families will not have to go through the challenges Mark, Bridget and the kids have faced.”
