Liverpool City Council appoints Max Associates for Sport England Strategic Outcomes Planning Model work
Further to Max Associates producing a strategic outcomes gap analysis, Liverpool City Council has commissioned Max Associates to undertake and deliver the full strategic outcomes planning model report. This will review the key leisure centres and services across the council area and develop a clear approach determined by local priorities and outcomes. The aim is to deliver a thriving leisure offer to support the local community, that will offer more opportunities and help transform the health of the local population. In particular, future focus is on hotspot areas of deprivation, and to ensure current and future leisure services meet the needs of those who require it most.
Lisa Forsyth, Director at Max Associates said, “We are really pleased to continue working with Liverpool City Council and Sport England to deliver a strategic options appraisal and framework. This will provide effective and sustainable physical activity and sport opportunities for local communities via investment in its stock of leisure facilities and other non-facility interventions. The strategic outcomes work will align with the Council’s place-based approach to delivery to really target those people that would benefit most from being more active.”
