Greg Chesters Joins Max Associates

In response to a growing demand for its services, Max Associates, UK’s market leader in leisure management consultancy, has appointed industry specialist, Greg Chesters as Principal Consultant.

Greg will be responsible for providing local authorities with consultancy across a range of services including; feasibility, business planning, management options appraisals, facility strategies, procurement and performance reviews.

Greg joins Max Associates after working as Head of Leisure and Sport at The Cheltenham Trust, where he was accountable for leisure and cultural services both financially and operationally. Greg is an experienced operator with over 18 years of expertise managing public and charitable facilities. He has extensive experience in commercial activities and developing services to be sustainable.

During his time with The Cheltenham Trust, Greg was instrumental in achieving increased participation and throughput across all facilities and supporting the company transition from borough council to charitable trust.

Greg, says: “I am excited to join Max Associates and look forward to working with my new colleagues to continue in delivering first class consultancy services across sport, leisure and culture.”

This senior appointment follows the promotion of Kirsty Winders as Director last year; both positions signifying a strategic decision to strengthen Max Associates standing as a leading consultancy on all aspects of public sport and leisure provision.
